I actually had the first interview of my life today! While it was just a small interview for a volunteer position at UNYSAB, it was a huge deal for me, and I learned a lot about the question patterns interviewers at volunteer organizations usually use, and the type of things they want to know about you.

QUESTIONS THEY ASK!

1. Do you know the full form of Organization Name?

2. What is the main concept of Organization?

3. Do you know what the main missions of our organization are?

4. Why do you want to join our organization?

5. Do you think that as a non-profit organization, our entry fee is justified/rational?

6. Do you know the types of events we’ve organized recently?

7. How much time can you put into our organization?

8. Do you think being in an organization is a must to help people or is it possible to do it alone?

THINGS THEY WANT TO KNOW ABOUT YOU!

1. Have you done any charity/ donation activities lately?

2. Which clubs are you in at school/college/university?

3. Are you a part of any indigenous communities?

4. What segment of our organization would you like to work in?

5. Do you consider yourself a leader or a follower?

I hope these FAQs help you nail your interview!
